The client wanted a frame made out of fluorescent tube lights to hang in storefront windows as an evergreen fixture that would frame portions of messaging on an interchangeable banner that hangs behind it. The problem was that fluorescent tube lights were not in the budget so they requested we create a solution that would fit not only their vision but their budget as well. The execution below is a combination of foam board, backlit film, and LED light strips. The frame is lightweight, easily assembled, and surpassed the client’s expectations.
